H₂Oil & Gas Wins Wastewater Treatment Consultancy Project in the Middle East
H2Oil & Gas, an Aquarion Group company, has been awarded a Wastewater Treatment Consultancy contract in the Middle East. The project, which is well underway, sees H2Oil & Gas providing conceptual and basic design engineering services to improve and upgrade the Wastewater Treatment plants, with capacities up to 9,000 m3/day per plant, in more than 10 gas refineries.
H2Oil & Gas are developing a complete process solution which integrates new technology with existing equipment to meet with current and future environmental regulations. The challenging wastewater, which contains high levels of Oil, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and suspended solids, will require an extensive evaluation of new and established technologies from Wet Air Oxidation (WAO) and Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) to Centrifuges and Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), to achieve the desired outcome.
This contract further demonstrates the ability of H2Oil & Gas to provide the Oil & Gas industry with specialist water treatment solutions for a wide range of applications including; enhanced oil recovery, produced water treatment, membrane desalination and wastewater treatment.
